Sara Rahim Jabbar is a memorizer of the Holy Quran who learned the Holy Book by heart at a Quranic center affiliated to the Astan (custodianship) of Imam Hussein (AS) holy shrine.
She was selected to compete for Iraq in Jordan’s Quranic event after recently winning the top prize in a Quran competition for women.
It was jointly organized by the Astan’s Dar-ul-Quran Center and the National Quranic Sciences Center affiliated to Iraq’s Shia Waqf Department.
Twenty-five Quran memorizers from different governorates of the Arab country took part in the contest.
The 14th edition of Jordan’s international Quran competition for women will be held in its capital of Amman during the holy month of Ramadan (March 10-April 8, 2024).
